We have alot of holiday traditions at this time of year.
Wes and I have so much fun with the girls!
(especially at christmas time)
Here is our holiday card this year. I always
take the girls to Luthy Botanical Garden for pictures.
They always have the most beautiful trees.
The girls are too old to "match" now, so I try to coordinate instead.
This year's colors are Red Grey and Black.
Another tradition is visiting the East Peoria Festival of Lights.
We watched the parade for the first time last year, and had
to go back this year too. It is fun to be so close to all of the floats.
We pick a week night to drive through the displays too. The girls
get so excited because they can climb out of their seatbelts and climb
into the trunk to watch the lights. We usually have dinner out too, and this year we picked Culvers...yum...but it was a bit too cold to enjoy the ice cream!
The ducks are my favorite :)
The tunnel was new last year, and really cool to drive through.

Cookie Tins
I cannot remember which year we started giving
out cookie tins. Our list has grown each year. I love to bake, and I love to include everyone...this year we made 31 tins full of goodies!!
Amelia helped me organize them!
The whole family helps with the baking too!
Anna makes the most perfect little rolled balls of dough.
