Ahh Summer...so far it has been filled with gardening, swimming, Dr. Appts, painting, sewing...and alot of naps.
So far this month:
There was a tornado that destroyed part of Elmwood, and
Wes had extra work to put in a new mobile cell tower. We didn't see him
for three days, but he was rewarded with a day off work, a $200 gift certificate and a
new cell phone. We are loving is new boss :)
We spent his day off shopping in Bloomington. We ate at Famous Daves and
visited our favorite store: Meijer ----they have the best stuff!!
We also took the girls to the Chillicothe Water Park at Shore Acres. The secret is
going LATE in the day...no one is there and no lines for the water slides :)
Our garden is growing and growing. We put in extra tomato plants this year and TONS of extra pepper plants. I wasn't physically able to do alot of the planting, so Wes planted, while I supervised from a lawnchair, drinking lemonade :) I will post pics soon.
I have been busy creating and crafting. Our last wholesale show for the year was this past weekend. It was nice to see Madison when it wasn't covered in snow and ice (like it is in January). We love the hotel and restaurants up north. The little church we visit is fun too! The girls were thrilled to swim 3 days in a row. I bought myself a couple of goodies for fall displays and we came home happy and relaxed....a very fun weekend out of town.
Here are some pics of the girls from Madison:
Here is the baby belly...28 weeks, and too tired to stand up for a picture :)
When we got home we discovered that our pool decided to spring a leak,
so goodbye backyard pool!! We went shopping and checked out bigger pools for next spring.
