~~PARKE COUNTY INDIANA~~

I am a 'scenery' junkie.
I love anything from the "days of old"
I love the 1800's and Colonial America and everything it had to offer.
Thus describes out latest adventure:
PARKE COUNTY INDIANA
Whenever we travel, we always seem to find something interesting along the way to enjoy.
So when we were planning our trip to Homeschool Camp, I casually
mentioned that I wished there was something to 'see' along the way.

Then we remembered hearing something about Covered Bridges.

Wes chose a few routes to try, and we set out for camp.

This is some of what we saw along the way:

This bridge was the first one we spotted from the state route. We were
just driving along and BOOM, out of no where, this adorable bridge!!

A few small towns and bridges later, we found this one in Bridgeton.
This was my favorite one.

~~SPOILER ALERT~~
The following photo is our Holiday Card this year!!!
You can see the Grist Mill next to the bridge in this photo.
The owners of the bridge and grist mill had an adorable
Ice Cream Shack, so of course we had to sample some!!
I had PERSIMMON ice cream for the first time.
IT WAS SOOOOOO GOOD!!!!
